Active minute loss with exercise tracking

I take a lot of walks pushing a stroller, so they usually don’t auto detect on my Charge 2. When I go and try to retroactively add in the exercise, the active minute counter in the app drops to zero, even though the minutes in the different heart rate zones continue to appear within the individual exercise screen. Am I doing something wrong?

Charge 2 (updated post). Do you think the tracker model has an impact?

@StrollerMother2   It might be the tracker, it might not.  I think there is a better chance that is is the LOG function in the app.  The LOG function has been known to overwrite the data that the tracker has already tracked.  It can use an average calorie burn from its database, so it "erases" yours.

Pushing a stroller has always been problematic with wrist worn trackers, because you lose the movement that it needs to sense a step.  Despite Fitbit's statement that the tracker works best on the wrist, this is a case for wearing your Charge 2 on your ankle.  For now, try removing the band and place it under your sock just above an ankle on the inside.  A snug sock should hold in in place.

Depending on which model tracker, I was going to suggest another method to avoid the need of manually logging the exercise.
