Active minutes and floors gone from dashboard

Hi,

I seem to have lost my Fitbit. I thought I would go back through the history of my device in the iOS app and see when it last logged active minutes or floors, but now floors and active minutes have gone from my dashboard (iOS app and website) and cannot be added back. This seems to be for today and all previous days too! I now only see my iPhone in the list of my devices, with my Fitbit one missing from the list.

Please can anyone tell me how I can get back these two items on my dashboard (I know it won't work now, but for all the time I had my Fitbit one)?

If I get another Fitbit one and add it, will I get my lost floors and active minutes data back and, if so, is there a special way I would need to add it to do so?

Hope someone can help, as I love my Fitbit and losing my data has made the annoyance of losing my Fitbit one far worse.

Many thanks

Mark

Hello @Sabanathan I've moved your post to the iOS app section, since you have mentioned iOS. I also did a search of the help site, link also found below, and found this document that explains how to manage iOS tiles.

Moving your post will give a larger audience that understands iOS.

Hi Rich,
Thanks for moving my post and offering suggestions. Sadly, the tiles are not simply hiden, as the document suggests, they have gone from the hidden list too.
Thanks
Mark

@Sabanathan  Have you tried just logging out, then logging back in to the app?

Thanks for the suggestion. Sadly, that didn't change anything.

I've been thinking this over, you say you don't see the Fitbit One anymore? Did you remove it or did it just disapeer?

I'm thinking that your One might have been found and the finder has attached it to their account.

It just disappeared. I was wondering the same thing last night. I am guessing Fitbit doesn't check with the account owner where a device used to be registered, if it is moved to a new account?
I am hoping that, when my new Fitbit one arrives and I add it to my account, all my old stats will come back.

A replacement Fitbit one has restored my old floors and active minutes data.

Glad I got it back, but curious as to why Fitbit have designed the system this way (lose your tracker and you lose your historic floors and active minutes data).

It's great to see you around @Sabanathan Smiley Very Happy! I'm glad to hear that your floors and active minutes are back after setting up your tracker as a new device.

To any memeber who experiences this, try setting it up your tracker by doing these steps:

  1. Log into your fitbit.com dashboard.
  2. At the top of the page click Log > Activities.
  3. Hover your mouse over the activity you'd like to edit or delete. You will see three icons appear on the right side of the activity.
  4. To edit the activity:
    1. Click the pencil icon and edit the duration, distance, or start time.
    2. Be sure to click Update.
  5. To delete the activity, click the trash can icon.
