Active zone minutes when I didn’t exercise

I didn’t exercise today but my Fitbit app registered 88 active zone minutes!?

Is this a bug? I tried deleting them but I’m afraid they are affecting my net calories for the day and making it inaccurate.

You earn active zone minutes when your heart rate is in your zones.  You will earn them even if you aren't doing formal exercise.  I suspect you had enough activity from your daily routine to earn them.  Not a bug and you don't need to change a thing.

I’m having the same problem!! I have a regular Versa and on a good day I’ll get 50/60 active minutes. For the last week it’s been 400+ minutes!! Not happy but I have had it since 2019.

Formal exercise has nothing to do with your activity level. For instance, my daughter is moving out to live with her boyfriend. For an hour I hefted boxes downstairs , came back up, did it again. For the Fitbit that was active minutes as my heart rate jumped up.  And it should have been counted as such. I'm exhausted. i was sweating and puffing. That was as much of a "workout" as going to the gym.
