my screen may be different because I have premium, checked the wifes iPhone, try the exercise tile with a blue running man - it is the stop watch in the upper right corner for manual logging...

Now Tap the weekly exercise tile, then the stop watch in the upper right corner, should look familiar...

Its a tile, if you don't have one, you can add by hitting "edit" in the upper right and then hitting the add (pink +) symbol on the tile. My exercise tile is a pentagon with a running man in the middle.
