Can you add a feature that allows us diabetics to track blood glucose and blood pressure readings?

Hello @DavidJoseph, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board!
We really appreciate our members's input and feedback and I would like to thank you for yours. Our team is always looking to improve the Fitbit experience which is why I went ahead and found a suggested idea by @cwalkin to implement a feature to monitor blood glucose and another suggested idea by @vjseelan to add blood pressure tracking to the app as well. Please feel free to add your vote and comment to these ideas, this is truly the best way to make your voice heard.
I hope this can be helpful, in case you need anything else, please keep me posted!

I agree with this. It would be great to be able to track other stats as suggested. This would help give a better overall picture for users.

It's been done by another company so the technology exists. Cmon Fitbit this would be an essential game changer for the products.

Any updates on adding BG & BP - or even just two “user defined” custom fields would be helpful.

This request is years old. What progress has been made to bring this to fruition?

I agree that just a field for entry would be great. It can’t be that tough. Not much different from the weight entry. I’m sure the technology is out there to do it automatically, or link to a machine but the KISS approach seems appropriate. It took me a while to even find this thread, so I’m sure there are many others out there who would ask for this if they could figure out how to. So for all of us out here, don’t wait for a massive number of requests. Build it and we will come. It would be great to have all of the data in one app for doctor visits.

I agree. I currently use Samsung's tracker to manually record blood glucose and Fitbit for everything else.
It shouldn't be that difficult to add the ability to manually enter blood glucose, insulin, and notes like Samsung.
I am not going to pay a monthly fee for Premium if I still need to utilize 2 systems.

Hi everyone. It's good to see you here in the forums and I'm sorry for the delayed response.
Thanks for the time taken to share your thoughts about this feature. I understand how important is to have all your data saved in one place and I'm sorry that this isn't yet available in the Fitbit app. Our team has received feedback about this idea which also was posted by another user in the Feature Suggestions board and they'll continue working to enhance your Fitbit experience. In the meantime and if you've not done so, please add your vote and comment to this idea so it can get the attention of the developers.
I'll be around if you need anything else.

At least on the android version I see glucose tracking. No sign of blood pressure tracking.

@Tns49 Welcome to the Community.
Thanks for joining this thread. As you noticed, the tile to log your blood glucose is already available in the Fitbit app; however, we don't have yet a place to track your blood pressure. I understand how important this data is for you and my best advice is to vote for this request already posted in the Feature Suggestions board. Our developers are always looking for new ideas to improve our devices, services and the overall Fitbit experience, rest assured your feedback won't be taken for granted.
See you around.
