After iOS update calories aren’t registered

After changing to an iPhone 7 from a 6 and updating to iOS 13, the app could no longer find my Fitbit. After redownloading the app etc I got it to sync but on syncing the calories changed to 1400 burnt instead of 2700. It also changed the Fitbit watch as well as the app, which pretty much defeats the point. The steps are still registering as 15000 but my running/workout is just registering as no calories burnt. If it resets and is fine tomorrow I’ll be happy but I’m just a bit concerned!

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Amydodd. I am sorry for the delayed response.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your concern about the changes you saw after upgrading your phone and updating to iOS 13. Thank you for providing the additional details, I totally understand how you are feeling and I am here to help. I recommend doing the following:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  3. Reboot your phone.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and sync your device.

If you continue experiencing difficulties, please let me know and I will be glad to investigate further.

Keep me posted on the outcome. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
