That option has not existed for several years.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

How long ago was that when you bought it?  Do you know where you found to turn off in the app?  I'm wondering if it was someplace from several years ago, and not the current Fitbit Help section.  There was once a setting, I think in the app, that was removed a few years ago, Fitbit saying something like that it was not a significant drain on phone or tracker resources, and it caused  more problems by not having it get synced.

I bought it back in June of this year, thats why its weird to me if it has
been removed because it did give me the option when i added the watch to
the fitbit app

In that case, maybe I've got it all wrong.  I thought it was removed several years ago, but that doesn't make sense with it having been there when you just got it a month or 2 ago.  Don't know.

Might get someone else to add in here, particularly if edit thread title to include "all-day sync".

Hi @Stehernz  - @JohnnyRow is correct.

The option to turn on/off all day sync has been removed and replaced by an automatic syncing where the app is running in background and periodically syncs automatically when the watch is in range or comes into range.

There isn't any need normally to stop this but if you want, simply turn on/off the phone Bluetooth but that will disable notifications when off.

What may have happened is you were running an old version of the Fitbit App with the option showing and it has since updated to the latest version.

To check current version in the Fitbit App click profile photo and Help & support.

@Stehernz - in addition, the default syncing is best unless you are having syncing issues causing high battery drain due to a software fault or incompatibility on a certain version or combination.

In which it is a good idea to first logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone.

Restart the watch, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Login and wait for any pair, link or Fixit prompts and sync manually by pulling down in the phone display.

This may resolve any temporary issues and allow you to continue using default syncing.
