Alta HR ends Fitbit day early

  • I hadn't used my Alta HR for a few weeks so had to do a complete recharge when I wanted to use it a few days ago. I noticed that its clock was wrong afterwards so had to sync it with my iPhone to correct it. That worked but later I noticed that all my steps, etc had reset about 9PM and it seemed to think it was a new day. All my activity was showing up as being "yesterday". I restarted the Fitbit by hooking it up to the charger and pressing the button 3 times.  It didn't fix the problem.  My Fitbit stills ends the day early even though the clock is now accurate. I checked the settings. It knows the correct time zone. Baffled what to do to fix

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @aQrose. I am sorry for the delayed response.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that your Alta HR doesn't reset at midnight.

Thanks for trying to resolve this and I am here to help. I appreciate the information that your tracker is showing the correct time, thank you for confirming the settings and time zone. You can double check the steps to correct the time on your device here

I recommend to manually sync your tracker by following the steps from this help article: How do I manually sync my tracker or watch? If you experience any difficulties with syncing, please try the troubleshooting instructions here

Keep me posted on the outcome.
