When I switched phones from my iPhone 6 to the iPhone X my I can no loner find the Alta Bluetooth. I should mention. This started before the iOS 13 update. The Bluetooth on the phone works fine and connects to everything else, it just doesn’t find the Fitbit. Is my Bluetooth on the Fitbit broken? It’s like it doesn’t have Bluetooth.

Hello and welcome to the Fitbit Community @Rokstrr

I see your having trouble syncing your Fitbit Ala to your new iPhone X. Hopefully I can help resolve this issue. First do make sure that your old phone is not connected to your Alta as it will cause conflicts with your new phone. If your old phone is not connected and your still having issues with your Bluetooth connection let’s try restarting your Fitbit Alta and see if that resolves the issue.

Here’s how:

  1. Plug your charging cable into a USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display. Your tracker will begin charging.
  3. Press the button on your charging cable 3 times within a few seconds, briefly pausing between presses. The button is on the end of the charging cable that is plugged into your computer. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted.
  4. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable. Now try sync your Alta HR

If after trying to restart your Alta several times and your still experiencing an issue let’s try force shutting the Fitbit App.

Heres how:

log out of your Fitbit app

now force shut your app by swiping the app up

now turn off your iPhone X completely and wait 1-2 mins then restart your iPhone

wait for your phone completely to completely reload

now log into your Fitbit App as you normally would with your email address and password

now try to sync

😃 please let me know if this resolves your issue. If indeed it does could you please tap the “best answer” box with the check mark in it just under my post? Doing so will help others who come to this Community looking for answers to issues similar to your own. I’d really appreciate it.
