iOS App, since recent update has a number of issues that need sorting.
1. When adding food to the daily calorie counter they disappear! But come back sometimes after adding something else
2. When out running with gps switched on, the app crashes and crashes my iPhone 6
Any one else noticed excessive battery drain when gps on?

Hi @Webbo19

Moved this thread from the Charge HR to the iOS App section since more relevant to the topic and increases the chance of getting a solution.

Wishing a wonderful weekend

Not fixed, however went for a run today and didn't touch my Fitbit timer and it didn't crash,
Still having problems entering food - ie it doesn't appear or appears later when another food item added, I often find that I end up with the same item twice!

So, moderated indicated this post had a solution, but when I click on the button I can't find the solution. After exhaustive effort with Apple and searching the 'net, it seems clear that using Fitbit with gps to track runs is causing dramatic battery drain on my phone, to the point that it crashes. Using Fitbit ap 2.21 on iPhone 5 running IOS 9.3.1.

@seantait If I were you I'd check your setting in the fitbit app for syncing... do NOT use the sync all the time, take that button off. I use my fitbit with GPS for walking all the time, although it continues to crash, it is not because of the battery being dead. After an hour or more out, I return and still have at least 50% battery or more.

However, I do wish someone would come up with a fix for the frequent crashes... such a huge pain in the "you know where". Just saying.
