App doesn't let me use my email address to set up a new tracker.

My first Fitbit stopped working, when I bought my flex 2 and tried to do the set up, it would not let me use my email address

It sounds like you are trying to set up a new account. You don't need to do this. Just sign in with your original fitbit account details and then add your Flex 2 as a new device. This will you'll keep all your data, settings etc
