App goal error and can’t uninstall

As similarly experienced in other threads, my goals are saying ‘unable to load’. This started before the recent update, initially my steps history wasn’t loading, sleep history for certain tabs would also freeze the app. Did the update, and now have lost all goals and can’t access that page.

I’d tried all the advice, reconnected Fitbit to app, logged out, restart etc, no success. My last option I see here is to uninstall and re-install the app. It won’t let me? And please don’t give me step by step instructions, I’m not unfamiliar with my iPhone. It’ll only give me the option to remove from the Home Screen. I’ve tried both holding the app there, and in the App Library, and trying via storage. I can uninstall other apps, so I know it’s not a general phone problem.

What’s going on please? My last resort is to bring this to your attention as I’m out of options, and very frustrated.

I’ve managed to delete the app now, and it fixed!

Did you lose all your data doing that? Just wondering.

No 🙂 it’s all saved in my Fitbit account, so I re-installed, logged in and everything was functioning great.
