Every time I open my Fitbit App, it asks me for my login, is there any way to deal with this, or is this something I will have to deal with from now on?

I am having this same issue. Almost every time (maybe every single time) I launch the Fitbit icon on my iPhone, I am forced to log in with my user name and password. I have a Versa and an iPhone 8. My husband has the Charge 2 and an iPhone 8, but this never happens to him. Is there a fix for this? I have searched the message boards here and Google, but I cannot find an answer. Thank you!

Thanks for reporting this situation to me; tell me, have you updated the Fitbit app recently? If so, is the issue is still happening after updating the app? If so, I would like to ask you to go to your phone Settings > Fitbit and make sure "Background app refresh" is enabled. If it is, disable it, restart your phone and enable it back again.

After that, open the Fitbit app and if you're asked to enter your email and password again, do it and monitor the app for the next few days to check if the issue happens again.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let me know the outcome!

Just an update on this - it is happening a lot again, although it isn't as frequent as it was in the past. Instead of making me log in multiple times per day, it's typically once or twice per day. Still annoying but not as bad as it was before. It's just weird because my husband has the exact same phone as I do, but he never has to re-log in aside from once in a blue moon. He has the Charge 2, and I have the Versa.

I appreciate you have come back and have kept me updated about this issue. At this moment, I would like to ask you to uninstall the Fitbit app, restart your phone and install the app back again. Now, before trying these steps, make sure to sync your Fitbit device one last time to prevent any data loss.

I hope this helps, give it a try and keep me updated!
