I have my cell data turned off for my Fitbit, but it's always synced when I opened up the app. Since I downloaded the update a couple of days ago, my Fitbit and app aren't syncing up unless I'm connected to wifi. Anyone else having this problem?

@MelRandom - with cellular data turned off, you present a unique situation. The Fitbit should sync to your app but it won't get the data to your account on the Fitbit servers until you are on wifi. I've copied some info from the Fitbit Help pages. But the first thing you should do is turn off Bluetooth ... wait a moment ... then turn it back on. That may do the trick. Please let me know how it goes. Also, unless you are on a very limited data plan, you may want to turn cellular on for the Fitbit. It does not use a lot of data.

from fitbit Help:
WHY CAN'T I SYNC MY TRACKER?
If your tracker stopped syncing, a Bluetooth connection issue is usually the culprit. For detailed information on how to diagnose and solve the problem, see Why won't my tracker sync?

Hi there @MelRandom and welcome to the family!
I noticed @SunsetRunner has provided you some useful information and troubleshooting steps and I would like to add that in order for your Fitbit tracker to sync and transfer the data collected to your Dashboard, it needs an internet connection, which is why it's only syncing when you're connected to Wifi; you might even see a pink banner at the top that says "No Internet connection"
Also, as @SunsetRunner pointed out, it's best to keep the cell data turned on for the Fitbit app, as it doesn't consume a lot of it, to ensure the tracker will sync even if it's not connected to a Wifi network.
I hope this information can be useful, if you need anything else, don't hesitate to reply!
