The app used to automatically update my step count and show my current heart rate.  No it only updates step count when I sync and it never displays current heart rate.  It only displays resting heart rate.

Thanks for the details shared in your post. I appreciate your efforts and recommend confirming that the live data setting of your device is turned on. You can only check this setting via the online fitbit.com dashboard: click the gear icon > click Settings > select your device > you will see the Live Data option. Please also do the following:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  3. Reboot your phone.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and log back in to your account.
  5. Sync your Fitbit.

Hope this helps!

It’s working now.  Thank you.

Replied too soon.  This morning it’s not doing live updates of steps nor displaying heart rate.  Same problem as before.

Thank you for your reply, @Michael24231.

I am sorry to hear the issue persists. I recommend to force quit the app, open it and manually sync your tracker: How do I manually sync my tracker or watch?

Hope this gets you back on track!
