The Fitbit app is not available from my local Apple app store (Namibia). The US app store refers me back to the local one. Where can U download the app for iPhone?

Hi @HPrins,
The Fitbit iOS App is available in countries where Fitbit has an in-store retail presence.
Many Community users have been able to download the Fitbit app for iOS by creating an Apple ID associated with a country where the Fitbit app is available. For instructions, go to http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US.
Hope this helps!

It will be so much easier for us, customers, to have the apps available at our countries. I am based in Brunei, and even following the instructions to change country does not work.

Hello @WanChin, thanks for joining the conversation, it's a pleasure for me to welcome you to the Fitbit Community.
I understand your concern about not having the Fitbit app available in your country. Please note that are several factors that influence availability of a certain app in a determined country and our team appreciates your feedback. Please note that in order to create a new Apple ID based on a country where the Fitbit app is available, you will need to log out from your current Apple ID in your phone Settings.
At this moment I would like to encourage you to submit your insight as a suggested idea where our members can comment and vote for it so it can be implemented in the future. This is the best way to make your voice heard and get the attention from our development team.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

Hello @Yoganand, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board.
I appreciate you have brought this to my attention. I understand your concern about not having the Fitbit app available on your country but please note that as mentioned earlier, there are several factors that influence availability of a certain app in a determined country. Also, as explained in my previous post, you create a new Apple ID based on a country where the Fitbit app is available, the US for example. Then, switch between Apple ID's in your phone and access the App Store again. While logged in to the new Apple ID you will be able to find the Fitbit app to download.
I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.
