App not recording hourly met

My hourly steps met is not recording even though I am getting plenty of steps.  I have a Versa 4.  
I’ve checked that I have the latest iOS version (2.76) and logged out, shut off blue tooth, and phone, turned blue tooth back on and logged back into the app with no success.  
the app is recording my overall step count accurately

I find it is usually recording them correctly, just not updating display. If I left-arrow back to yesterday, then come back to today, it usually shows hours with 250 steps correctly.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
