App not tracking distance correctly.

The mobile app is very inaccurate as when it’s tracking my watch said I had done 4km and the app said I did 9km

the watch started the same time. And me and my mums watch both said 4km so it’s not the watch, it’s the app. It also says my pace is 6-7 when I’m walking. My Fitbit said my pace was 13.

Thanks for bringing this situation to my attention. Tell me, which tracker are you currently using? Are you using connected GPS with the Fitbit app or does your device has integrated GPS? Since when have you experienced this situation? A screenshot will be very helpful in this case so I can check this further and determine what should we do. 

 

Please note that it is not recommended to start a GPS activity on your tracker and your phone at the same time because they will rewrite themselves causing data to be lost during the syncing process as 2 different devices are tracking the same activity at the same time.
