App not working on iOS 11 beta

Hello everyone!

I am beta testing iOS 11 and haven’t used my Fitbit in about a month, today when I tried to connect it to my app to update it it would not find it via Bluetooth so I hard reset my phone and removed the device from my app then when I tried to re-add it the app wouldn’t let me get past I agree to the terms and conditions. Any help is greatly appreciated but I understand if I need to go back to iOS 10 for the third time haha.

Hello @Cutter, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

As with any beta OS, it's possible that some of your apps will not work correctly, so in this case I would like to suggest you to uninstall the Fitbit app on your phone, restart it and install it again. Then log in with your credentials and try to set up your tracker as a new device. If at first it doesn't work, try the following:

  1. Restart your tracker and leave it plugged in and charging.
  2. Go to the Bluetooth devices on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this device.
  3. Set up your tracker as a new device:
    • Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
    • Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else. Smiley Wink
