App notifications blank in Fitbit app on iPhone

Inspire 2 was no longer syncing to Fitbit app and I had to remove and readd the device. Now it’s reconnected im not receiving app notifications apart from the basic call/text/calendar and the App Notifications page appears blank. Have tried all the  recommendations I’ve seen to restart Fitbit/app/phone, reinstalled app, made sure my iOS is up to date, turned both Bluetooth and system notifications on and off, received the missing notifications on the phone since reconnecting Fitbit, but I still can’t see the list or get the notifications on my phone. Can anyone help?

Thanks for your reply.
I already tried offloading the Fitbit app and reinstalled and this did not help. There are no new updates available to me for either the fitbit or the app.
If it helps your investigations, I’m running app Version 4.64, Inspire 2 model FB418 on FIT OS 53.20001.124.84 and iPhone 15 on IOS 26.3.1.

@AnonPoster1000  You wrote that you removed your Fitbit, then added it back as a new device.  You are seeing typical behavior for iOS app notifications.  That page is always blank when you setup a new device.  You need to receive a notification from an app before it will display on the list.  Then you can toggle it on.

Hey there, i’ve been having this same issue since the Fitbit update 1 week ago. Since the update I have no apps at all showing in my Fitbit. I’m still getting notifications for all my apps, but I want to turn some of the notifications off on certain apps, but the app gallery is empty. a new Fitbit update was released today which I did, was really hoping that would fix the issue, but it hasn’t.
can you please help

I had heard about this but sadly it was not the case for me before I reached out and the screen continues to be blank for me despite receiving numerous app notifications. Hopefully Fitbit can get to the bottom of the issue.

Thank goodness you posted this. I have tried everything in the last week to sort this. I am on iOS 26.3 on 17 pro max. Blank in the app notification page in Fitbit app. Thought it was just me......

Hi everyone and warm welcome to the new members.

I appreciate all your messages and feedback regarding this situation. Our team is still working on a solution.

I would like to share a workaround that seems to have worked for some of our users:

"Go to iPhone settings, then apps folder, find Fitbit app in list then change language from English Uk to just English and go back to Fitbit app on phone and look at what was blank app list and should all be back to toggle on or off."

Please let us know how it goes, and stay tuned because we will be posting any updates as soon as we receive them.

Thanks for the update @MarioSFitbit

I’ve tried the workaround but unfortunately the language option is not available under Settings>Apps>Fitbit on iPhone 15.

I did however try changing the Region to US under iPhone Settings>General>Language & Region and this enabled me to get the list back in Fitbit but unfortunately I can only see 11 apps and only 1 of them is an app I want notifications for. I even made sure to restart the phone and the Fitbit app and I still can’t get the other apps I want to appear on the list despite getting notifications through from those other apps on iPhone after making the Region change. I enabled the 1 app I could and successfully got a notification to come through to my Fitbit but as soon as I switch back to UK I can no longer see it in the app list in the Fitbit app (although the other 10 apps I don’t need are still visible) and I don’t get the notification through on my Fitbit anymore. I also tried changing the Region to all of the other English speaking countries but only US and Canada include 1 of the apps I need in the Fitbit list, the rest have the same list of 10 as UK.

Fingers crossed a solution can be found soon.

Hi. So weird. Like anonposter1000 if I do this, I get some apps back in the list, but not all. The ones I get options to turn on are useless apart from WhatsApp!

@AnonPoster1000   I moved your thread to the iOS app forum.  This is an iOS and isn't specific to your Fitbit model.

That's exactly the problem. Since the latest ios update the apps won't appear in that list anymore even after they've sent notifications!

Was excited to finally have a new Fitbit update this morning. Did the update, went to the App notifications and there’s a messages that says apps will only appear in this list after they have sent their first notification after pairing. If an app is missing, please check back once it has triggered a mobile notification.
I have had several mobile notifications which are coming through on my actual Fitbit, but still the App notifications list is empty!!
this is getting beyond a joke and very frustrating!!

Change the language of fitbit to English instead of default English(UK) will solve your issue.

"Go to iPhone settings, then apps folder, find Fitbit app in list then change language from English Uk to just English and go back to Fitbit app on phone and look at what was blank app list and should all be back to toggle on or off."
