App says sync failed, but data is updated

Updated yesterday or this morning to app version 3.15.1. When I open the app, it takes about 10 seconds and briefly shows the message that it "Failed to sync device". However, the number of steps, calories, stairs, and distance matches that shown on my Versa.  The app reports that the last sync was yesterday, although I have updated today.
I guess that since the data is getting to the app, this may be just a bug report - I can't find where to report bugs, so this hopefully will suffice.

But I don't have confidence that the end of the week data will be compiled correctly, since the app thinks it hasn't synced.

Hi @Goldfishglass. Welcome on board. I'm sorry for the delayed response.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, as well for making sure the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version. It's odd that the syncing process isn't completed, even though your data is correctly displayed. To work on this together, let me suggest the following steps:

  1. Remove your Versa from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth settings that are nearby.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  4. Restart your Versa.
  5. Open the Fitbit app, tap on your profile picture > Versa > Sync Now.

I'll be around, keep me posted.

Ok it’s syncing fine now. But I do have an issue with my sleep hours not showing up on the Fitbit itself I can only see the information in the App. How can I fix this?  All other data shows up fine. But the number is how’s and related sleep info is just blank.

Hi @Deliatvp, welcome to the forums. @Goldfishglass, it's great to see you here again. I'm sorry for the delayed response.

@Deliatvp, it's great that your Fitbit is syncing fine and thanks for letting me know that your sleep data isn't displayed correctly. To work on this may I know the model of your Fitbit device? Have you made sure to have the Fitbit app updated? If you've not done so, I'd recommend to remove your Fitbit from the Bluetooth settings, force quit the Fitbit app, open the Fitbit app, sync your Fitbit device and enable the All-Day Sync to keep your data updated.

@Goldfishglass, you're welcome and thanks for the update. I'm glad that your data is now syncing correctly. Happy stepping! 😊

See you around.

Hi @Deliatvp. It's great to see you here again and I'm sorry for the delayed response.

Thanks for keeping me updated and for making sure to enable the All-Day-Sync. I'm sorry that your Versa isn't showing your stats correctly. Since you mentioned to have issues to sync, please give a try to the following steps so then that information can be updated on your watch:

  1. Remove your Versa from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections that aren't in use.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  4. Restart your Versa.
  5. Open the Fitbit app and tap on your profile picture > Set Up a Device.
  6. Choose your Versa from the list, tap on replace and follow the onscreen instructions.

Let me know how it goes.
