Just bought the Charge2 and find that my iPhone4 (yes, I know it's old - like me!) isn't compatible with the Fitbit App. I've been able to sync the Fitbit with my iPad and PC, but would really like to have it on my phone (but will not buy a new phone until this one is dead). Any help would be appreciated, but I am not very computer literate, so anything that needs to be done by me needs to be spelled out clearly and without assuming I'm anything of a techie. Thank you!

I'm afraid you won't be able to get the sync to work with an iPhone4 as the bluetooth chip in that phone is not supported by fitbit.

To add some clarification @TerryTucker, it is not that the app is not compatible, your phones Bluetooth is not able to connect to the trackers Bluetooth which is the Low energy version.

I have an iphone 4S and it syncs just fine. I would call customer service and see if they can help.

The Bluetooth chip changed with the 4S which is why that is supported by fitbit but the 4 isn't.
