App time zone issue

let me preface this with the time on my Fitbit is correct. The Fitbit itself is fine. It’s the APP on my phone (iOS) that’s the issue.
I’ve had an ongoing issue with my sleep time being off. It says I woke up at 1329 today, yet it’s only 0746 so that’s literally and physically impossible. It’s because the time zone is set to ETC/UTC (GMT).
So I’ve followed the advice of others; turn off automatic time zone, force sync, then turn automatic back on. Didn’t work. I’ve turned off automatic time zone and manually selected the correct time zone and it still goes back to ETC/UTC.
The app is updated and my phone is updated. Again, the Fitbit itself is set to the correct time. It’s the actual app that’s giving me issues.

@Victoriamarie   I flagged your post to notify a moderator.  I've seen other posts on this same topic.  I don't know if this will work for you or not.  You can still make certain changes on you web based Fitbit settings page.  Yes, on a web browser.  You can manually set you time zone there.  I just changed mine to Paris on the web, then changed it back on my phone.

I did try that just now but unfortunately it didn’t work. App still remained on ETC/UTC and displaying the wrong time

I’m having this same issue and I thought waiting it out for a bit might help but it’s still an ongoing issue. I’ve also tried the time zone change and sync method but nothing is working! Please help!
