App v 2.95 draining watch battery

My fit bit is rapidly draining battery ever since I updated the app to version 2.95. I used to get 5 days on a charge and now get one.  Is there a way to uninstall the latest update?

Hello @Mishell216 thanks for bringing this situation to my concern. I'm happy to help you today and to give you a warm welcome to our Community Forums.

Seems odd that the latest Fitbit app update is draining the battery life of your Fitbit device, this is certainly not a common situation nor an expected behavior. Let me share with you that the length of time your Fitbit device operates on a full charge depends on how frequently you use it and various settings. This article provides battery life estimates and tips for turning off features you don't need when you want to prioritize battery life. Also, to make sure you're charging your device correctly, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?.

We do not recommend you to uninstall the latest version of the Fitbit app, however, I found this post that was really helpful for other users that had the same doubt as yours. Prior taking this in consideration, please uninstall the Fitbit app, reboot your iOS mobile device, reinstall the app, restart your device with the instructions that are specified on the help article posted above and let me know how it goes.

I'll be here if you need anything else. Let me know if you have any additional questions too.

Unfortunately, uninstalling and reinstalling the app didn’t resolve the problem.  I am now charging my fit bit daily for an hour.  Without charging, it last about 1.5 days whereas I previously would charge it every 5 days to full or for about 20 minutes every other day.   I’m annoyed but found a laborious workaround.

Mine is doing the same exact thing. I left it charging all night until 100% and now 12 hours later it is at 46%!

I too have noticed this drain.  However, I noticed it immediately following an update to the IOS 13 Beta.  The draining of my watch seems to align with those mentioned within this thread. Roughly 4-5 days before and 1.5 (Max) since the IOS 13 update.  Maybe this will help with the diagnosis and corrective update.  Until then and since I’m having to charge this often, I decided to switch to my Apple Watch

However, I’d much rather skip the frequent charges because I love my Blaze. 👍
