Hello @ChristineP1991@Glow7907@scphilli, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board! Smiley Happy

If you're not able to log in to the Fitbit app after the update, please restart your phone. If that doesn't seem to work, please go to your phone settings > general > date & time and make sure that Set Automatically is enabled.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else. Smiley Wink

Thanks.  I tried that again and it still wont open.  Screen turn white like it is trying to open and then goes away.  If I double click the home button after it shows the app open but when you select it, it just goes away again.

If the app is still getting frozen after you try to log in to it, please uninstall the app, restart your phone and install it back. Then, try to log in.

Please give it a try and let me know the outcome! Smiley Wink

Yes, I've tried re-installing it several times. It won't open at all. It's been like that ever since it automatically updated on 7/05.

Hello @ChristineP1991, thanks for taking the time to reply. It's nice to see you around @Jujube289Smiley Happy

@Jujube289, I appreciate you've taken the time to reply on this thread and letting me know you're now able to log in to the Fitbit app.

@ChristineP1991, if you're still not able to log in to the Fitbit app, please try the following:

  • Force-close the Fitbit app by double tapping the home button and swiping up the app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth on your phone
  • Open the Fitbit app and try to log in again.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let me know the outcome.

I have my setting correct. It's not that I cannot log into the app - it will not open at all. I've deleted & re-installed the app multiple times, checked and re-checked my settings...any other ideas? Is anyone else experiencing the app not opening at all? I'm on an iPhone 7.

I got the same problem and i already did all the things suggested by Marco.

Can be a problem with the IOS 11 Beta installed in my iPhone?

Edit: Whit the bluetooth off, the app starts ok, but when i turn on the bluetooth, the app crash inmediatly.

Hello @ChristineP1991 and @ChristineP1991, thanks for taking the time to reply. It's my pleasure to welcome you to the Fitbit Community @DaniloLuna, I hope you're having a great day. Smiley Happy

@scphilli, I'm glad the instructions provided in my previous post were helpful to you, I'm glad you're not able to log in to the Fitbit app.

@ChristineP1991, have you tried the instructions described above? If so, please let me know if you're receiving an error message or if the app just crashes, or if you're getting an infinite loop with a white screen. A screenshot will be helpful as well.

@DaniloLuna, indeed, as with any beta software or OS, it's possible some of the apps are not working correctly, please be aware that we're working towards resolving this situation as fast as possible. Once I have an update regarding the Fitbit app and iOS11, I will let you know.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, if there's anything else I can help you with, please feel free to reply. Smiley Wink

@DaniloLuna: my Fitbit app, version 2.44.2, crashes whenever I enable the Bluetooth radio on my fifth-generation Apple iPod Touch on iOS 9.3.5 to synchronize with my Fitbit Blaze. Afterward, it will work and synchronize, though; it's just annoying.

Any update on this matter, @MarcoGFitbit?

My Fitbit app, version 2.44.2, crashes whenever I enable the Bluetooth radio on my fifth-generation Apple iPod Touch on iOS 9.3.5 (note: this is the last supported version for this device) to synchronize with my Fitbit Blaze. Afterward, it will work and synchronize, but it is annoying and has been occurring for several app versions.
