App won’t switch to show family profiles

When I try to switch to my child’s profile And sync her Fitbit ace all I get is a message to set up a Family Account, even though I already have one. If I click on the option to set up the Family account I get a message that I have an account but I won’t show my daughter’s profile or sync her device. Can you please stop messing with the kids profile feature on the app? It seems that every update lately has messed up the child’s account which makes the Fitbit practically useless.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Megs778.

I am sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing when trying to switch to kid view. Thanks for trying to resolve this, I totally understand how you are feeling and I am here to help. I recommend to log out from the Fitbit app, force quit the app and log back in. If the issue persists please try to uninstall and reinstall the app.

Let me know how it goes, I'll be around.

I’ve tried logging out, uninstalling, and shutting down my phone. App still won’t switch to kids view.

Supposedly, Fitbit techs know about this issue with IOS and are working on it. It’s been going on a week for me and it’s getting very frustrating....my kiddos don’t understand why it works for me but not them!

Hello. I have trie ALL of the suggestions you offered including the uninstalling and reinstalling the app (twice). This issue has persisted for over a week and based on the other threads is not isolated to me. I still cannot switch between accounts which essentially makes my daughter’s ACE useless. Can you tell me when a fix will be available?

I am still frustrated about this. It has been over 3 weeks of this issue! It should be a top priority...

Three weeks here also of the same problem. No answer from Fitbit either, they say they are “working” on it. My kids are super frustrated too!

I appreciate everyone's feedback, I understand that this can be very frustrating. Thank you for your troubleshooting efforts and for the details shared. Our team has recently released a new version of the Fitbit app. Please make sure you have downloaded the new version by following these instructions.

Let me know if you can switch to Kid view after that and if you continue experiencing any issues.
