Apple store does not offer fitbit app on iPad with iOS 9.3.5

I got a Blaze for Christmas and try to download the fitbit App to my iPad. It is an older version and runs IOS 9.3.5. The App Store offers me all sorts of Apps for the Blaze, but not the App from fitbit Inc. Is the old iPad not supported any more or what am I missing here?

Thanks

Did you tell the app store you wanted it to include iPhone apps in the listing?

I don't have my iPad with me right now, but I believe in the upper left corner of the search results page there is a drop-down that allows you what mix of apps to show.

There is not an APP for the iPad. However, you can search for fitbit in the app store and then filter (upper left corner) for iPhone only. You can then download and use as normal. I hope this will work for you on iOS 9. I am on iOS 11 and it works fine for me.

Thanks for coming back to me, guys! After tinkering for ages I simply opened the fitbit website on my pad, went to the app and clicked the logo for the apple store. This miraculously downloaded and installed the app on the pad right away. So all is well now.

Cheers
