I can't change these settings in the Mac Desktop Dashboard app. If I change them on the iPad Fitbit app they show correctly but after syncing they revert to ignored, all except the Walking one. It seems the Dashboard is driving the settings on the iPad app?????

I don't know how it rectified itself but by the end of the day it had. I did a Walk with my android phone connected and that always syncs properly. The trouble I am sure is with the iPad and IOS 13.2
I had tried all the logging out re-starts etc but nothing worked. By the end of the day it had righted itself. Incidentally whilst only connected to the iPad I could not change the settings in the Dashboard. Not sure which drives the other or which has priority in terms of direction.

Hi @Allyshake. It's good to see you here.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention, as well for the screenshots attached to your post. While it's odd that the settings chosen for your exercises don't remain selected on your iPad and fitbit.com dashboard, I'm wondering if you synced your Fitbit to save the changes. If you did that, I'd recommend the following steps on your iPad:
- Log out from the Fitbit app.
- Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your iPad.
- Open the Fitbit app and log back in to your account.
- Adjust the amount of time needed to recognize your exercise one more time.
- Sync with your iPad to save those changes.
Once that is done, the settings on your iPad should be the same displayed on your fitbit.com dashboard.
Keep me posted.
