Auto syncing devices

I just bought a Fitbit Charge 3 and made a troubling discovery. The fitbit user cannot turn off auto sync on Apple devices anymore.

It would be great if Fitbit could bring back the ability to turn off auto sync for the Apple devices, so that those of us that choose to, can have the ability to maximize our battery to its fullest potential. Taking this ability away has made it impossible to use the Fitbit to the fullest potential in conjunction with an Apple device and significantly drains the battery life of the Fitbit device.

Taking away the ability to turn off auto sync for apple users has given the Fitbit user one of three options: 1) prevented other bluetooth apps from being used, 2) forces the user to sync the device to the phone when we want auto sync and click 'forget this device' when we don't, or 3) return our Fitbit and find better more battery friendly options.

Fitbit, could you please send an update to apple users to please fix this so that those of us that enjoy using the Fitbit can continue to do so without inconveniences.

I don't know if this will put your concerns to rest, but I do remember that when Fitbit removed the option to turn off auto-sync, for Android as well as iOS devices, they did mention that auto-sync was a very minor battery drain.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I would kindly disagree. I forgot go into bluetooth and 'forget this device'  from about 10am to 6pm and my battery drained from 72% to 56%. When the device is not auto syncing, I only lose about 6-8% of battery.
