Auto tracking starts a walk exercise

Hi, looks like the newest update starts a walk exercise once it’s detected after 6-8 minutes. I have auto tracking enabled in my settings to only log walks after 15 minutes to avoid an inaccurate overload of “walks”. Is there a way to turn this off or edit when my inspire 3 decides to start a walk exercise?

Same here. Very annoying for someone who doesn't think that walking is an exercise in the first place.

Hello @Jsaldua and @AleAle600 and welcome to the Community.  The setting you are making in your app refers to the seven auto-recognized activities that Fitbit calls SmartTrack.  The recent firmware update added an auto detect feature that turns on the Exercise app.  This feature is controlled on your Inspire 3 and is different from SmartTrack.  To turn it off:

  • Swipe left/right on your Inspire 3, open the Exercise app and select Walk
  • Swipe up on the tiny "^" to go to the settings
  • Look for Auto Start and toggle it off

This feature got added to six shortcuts: walk, run, hike, elliptical, spinning, and rowing.  You must toggle them off in each shortcut,
