Exercise days in iPhone app are being lost

Using iPhone app 4.23 (42343025) with Inspire 3 on 20001.210.26

Today when looking at exercise days for weeks or months the correct days will display momentarily and then many of them will disappear, showing fewer days as "exercise days". This is a new problem today.

When I try to see my exercise data in the app for last week it only shows Saturday as an exercise day but I walked 5 days last week and until today all the data was there and looked correct. Today the data shows no exercise for Sun-Fri in the weekly summary. Only Sat is considered to be an exercise day.

If I look at today and then go back by day to last Friday, I see correct steps at 17971, Zone Min at 198, Miles at 8.45, cal at 3368. But I DO NOT see the exercise I recorded listed in the bottom of the EXERCISE DAYS box where I walked for 2 hours. It is gone. I started the exercise as I always do by tapping the + sign, selecting walk, hearing progress notifications each mile, and ending the workout. Many of these workouts are now gone and those are the days with incorrect data in the week and month summaries and missing exercise data in the daily view.

I have reset the inspire 3 device from the clock face using settings and reset. I have synched the device. I have ended and restarted the application on the iPhone. I do not know if my app was at version 4.23 yesterday when all my data was showing up. It may have updated to 4.23 without me knowing. I know the iPhone updated to 17.6.1 last week.

How do I get the app to display all my hard earned data again?

Thank you

I am having a similar issue with my Inspire 3. I log my exercise using Add Exercise > Log Activity. The last two days display under Exercise Days, but then the day’s activities vanish in the app. Only started happening in the last couple days with 20001.210.26 update.

What is the version on the device? On the phone app, tap the device in upper left, and tap the device to see the details. Running 20001.210.26?

All I see is:
1. Inspire 3
2. Synced Now
3. 20001.210.26

Nothing else. The App Store says version 4.25.

Thanks - so far it seems maybe version 20001.210.26 in the device has the issue

To clarify for support

1. Phone app is losing workouts added using the plus sign in the app.

2. Workouts that did appear before in the box under the EXERCIDE DAYS are now lost.

3. For those lost workouts I can no longer see the lap data, GPS data, start times, zone minutes, etc. The entire workout is gone.

4. Exercise days are not highlighted but this must be downstream of the missing workouts

Thank you

I am having the same problem-manually added workouts and even the fitbit premium coach workouts have disappeared!  I woke up this morning and random automatically recorded items are all that randomly appear.  Have done everything the forums have suggested and nothing has reappeared.

I am having the same problem today. I have removed app and reinstalled twice.  I have restarted the Fitbit twice.  My exercise from Tues and Wed completely gone.  They were there last night

The same thing is happening to me! It just started today. I have an Inspire 3, version 20001.210.26 and my app is version 4.25.

Has anyone figured out how to fix it? Or are we all just waiting and hoping that our data reappears when the tech support team realizes there’s an issue and hopefully addresses it in the next update?

Best Answer

Oh, and I forgot to mention, it looks like all of the vanished workouts are ones that I logged manually! The ones that the FitBit detected automatically are still there.

Same issue noticed yesterday on my Charge 5. How do we fix this??

I’m having the exact same issue that you all are too. I’ve also noticed along with my logged exercises disappearing that my steps will randomly go up by several thousand which is inaccurate and then they’ll go back down and sometimes stay accurate and sometimes stay elevated. has anyone else noticed this is a problem as well?

Best Answer

That happened to me yesterday! But then today, yesterday’s step count stabilized at the lower, accurate number.

Yes - I thought this was how we might get help but now I'm not sure there
is any real help. Maybe just whatever we might get if they dip in here and
see this thread.

Does anyone know how to get Fitbit to pay attention or reply in some way?

Thanks
