BMR inaccurate

i know that the Fitbit app calculates your BMR based on height weight and activity, my scale that has body mass features says that my BMR is 1600 calories at rest, but my Fitbit calculates it to be about 1800cals to 2000cals and its completely throwing off my weight loss as im actually burning way less calories at rest per day than i thought, is there a way i can input my own BMR data?

Fitbit calculates BMR as a function of height, weight, sex, and age.  And it calculates an exact value, not an approximate value with a 200 calorie range.

Perhaps you are confusing MBR (basal metabolic rate) calorie burn with some other metabolic term.

From How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
