I noticed lately I haven't been hitting my calories burned goal for the day. Thought I was just being lazy, so I stepped it up this week. Still no change. So I decided to look through the history.
When did the app stop calculating the BMR when the Fitbit was off? As long as I'm alive, I'm still burning those calories, even if the Fitbit is off. The app used to calculate those calories regardless if the Fitbit was on or off.
Since I don't sleep with it on most nights, I'm losing a good chunk of calories burned. Still burning calories in the shower, but not getting credit when the Fitbit is on.
Any chance this is a glitch that will be fixed back to the way it was?

I think it must be a glitch because it's still calculating BMR for me (I don't wear mine to bed either).
I wonder if this might be an issue with the BMR calculation if one of your profile settings (age, weight, height etc) has been accidentally changed. Worth checking at: https://www.fitbit.com/user/profile/edit
