When I scan a new item using the Barcode Scanner, does anyone know if FitBit also updates the "USDA National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference" database?  Or is only the FitBit database updated?  If only FitBits database is updated, does anyone know how to update the USDA database with a new product?

@Ryan_001 I'm not quite sure how the Fitbit database is updated, but when we send in the information, it goes to them.

 

For the USDA people, they do have contact information and a page telling how to help them update their database. click here
