Hello,
Every single time I scan a food item it comes up as 'item unknown'. I'm in France & using the French food database. I'm very confused why common items from e.g. Carrefour, Casino & Lidl would be unknown. I saw an old thread from 2015 saying that it was only a barcode scanner for the US??? Surely this can't still be the case? Why have this as a feature in the app if you're only having it for the US market?

I understand your concern about not being able to scan food into the French food database. At this moment, our team doesn't have plans to release this feature. You can learn more about how Fitbit decides what suggestions get released in our FAQs. For now, our team will leave this suggestion open for votes (and closed to comments) so that we can continue to track community demand over time.
