Since the recent firmware update my device battery doesn’t even last a whole day - anyone know why?

I like so many others have had the SAME issue. My device is 15 months old, but your lawyers/policy says I am out of warranty so not responsible despite like with the Charge 2 Fitbit released a non-quality checked firmware update. Before the firmware update I hoped would fix the 2 year old sync issue with device/app, I did the update. Now I have 4 days of life, that's it. Per policy - out of warranty and NOT responsible for damage caused by Fitbit firmware updates. I got a joke of a 35% discount for a 15 month old expensive device. It is laughable that Fitbit says it cares about customer service and loyalty - this is my 3rd device and my LAST. I want the 50% discount that others have received - that's the right thing to do. Remember, Fitbit lied/denied the issue in 2019 with the Charge 2 and another poor quality firmware update. READ THE BOARDS - customers are complaining about this issue and Fitbit is deafeningly silent.

Your offshore operation center is restricted to minimal customer service. Also not in any way competent in technical support. I had to trash the formerly working device and get ripped off for a Charge 4.
Now that you’ve sold out to invasive Google I can imagine the privacy invasions.
Can’t wait for a better alternative to FitBit. Your team doesn’t give a hoot about loyalty much less customer satisfaction. 2 years and “our engineers are aware” is insulting for the device/app sync issues.
and a rip off for extended warranty that in the EU is standard. Try to do maximum quality testing before a firmware update destroys devices and you hide behind a lousy warranty that should cover damage YOU cause because of a firmware update fail..you did it 2 years in a row.

These tips have been followed and they are useless. My device doesn't even last 12 hours. As for the "out of warranty period", sounds like you are saying you don't expect the device to function as it did for more than 2 years and your goal is to make sure people buy a new device beyond that 2 year mark
