Hello, I have had the charge 3 for 5months & generally happy with it, apart from a couple of clock resets. However last night it was out of charge & I plugged it in as usual but the screen remained blank. I’ve left it charged for over 3hours today & still remains blank. I’ve tried to restart 10 times- sometimes I get the smiley face then goes blank again, sometimes just vibrates & stays blank. It’s also not syncing to my iPhone so not possible to reset the clock. Any suggestions?

Hello @Hornbeam
You said you started your Charge 3 Ten times. How frustrating I’m sure especially since your Fitbit is so new. I’m going to leave the restarting instructions here so you can verify that you did the restart correctly.
- Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
- Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
- Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
- Press and hold the button to restart your tracker:
- Press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
- Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.
If you still have problems I would contact the Fitbit Customer by phone. They should be able to help you in ways that are not possible through this community forum. Please let me know if this resolves your issue. 😃 I’m sure your anxious to get back to stepping with your Fitbit friends.
