Blaze GPS CONNECTION ISSUES

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi

had my blaze for a few months now and recently had issues with it syncing to my iPhone. I managed to fix the issue following instructions from previous questions in this site but since then I have experienced problems with the blaze connecting to my GPS Meaning it will not track my runs. The phone is definitely connected as it can control the music but for some reason it will not tack my run!!

Any thoughts?

thanks

Thanks for stepping into the Community @Cbarke! I hope you like it in here.

It could be that your phone's GPS signal is not strong enough in some areas. I'd recommend going to a place with the least amount of building and trees possible and try to activate the GPS there. It should then connect.

If it still doesn't, or you are already doing this, I'd like to ask a few questions:

- Do you get any sort of error message? If so, what does it say?

- Was this happening before the syncing issues?

- What specific activity are you selecting on your Fitbit Blaze?

- Have you verified that the signal remains strong on your Blaze's display?

Look forward to helping you get this resolved! Smiley Very Happy

Hi @LanuzaFitbit,

the issue seems to have resolved after I reloaded the app and re set the blaze.

I was running in the same locations I always run so gps signal should not be an issue. If the issue arises again I will let you know but all seems well for now.

Thanks for for your response.

Hey there @Cbarke, thanks for that update.

It's very curious that the issue resolved on its own. Perhaps it had something to do with the phone's reception. Nevertheless, feel free to let me know if you need any assistance in the future.

Happy stepping! Smiley Very Happy
