Blaze won't connect to Iphone 7

Help! My Blaze wouldn't sync with my phone. I restarted the fitbit and then I turned bluetooth off and back on. Last time this happened, I removed the Blaze and then added it back. Tried this again and it won't find it. It is showing its connected through bluetooth, I type the four digits and then it sits a "connecting to fitbit" forever (over an hour multiple times). I've tried to delete the Fitbit app and redownload. Nothing seems to work. Anyone got an advice??

Hi, @Nikcoop87, if you have removed it from Fitbit, and are trying to add it back to the Fitbit app while it is still showing connected by Bluetooth, that is the problem.

You need to go to the phone's BT settings (not the Fitbit app) and delete/ forget the device there.

After that you should be able to add it back in to your Fitbit app.

I hope this helps.  Let us know how it goes.  Welcome to the Community.

I am having the exact same issue. Maybe the app requires updating.

Hello @Bayliss and @Nikcoop87, thanks for joining us, it's always a pleasure to welcome new members in the Community! It's nice to see you around @Julia_GSmiley Happy

As @Julia_G mentioned earlier, it's possible you will need to remove the Bluetooth bond between the tracker and your phone so it can be detected once again by the app. To do this, on your phone go to Settings > Bluetooth and check if you tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device. Then restart your phone.

After removing the bond, restart your Blaze by pressind and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen, then let go of the buttons. Then, try to set it up once again:

  • Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  • Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue

Please give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink

I was able to get my wife's blaze connected. I deleted it off the iPhone Bluetooth list, turned on Bluetooth classic on the blaze. When I found the blaze on iphone Bluetooth list it said "BLAZE Classic" I paired it in classic mode and then was able to sync to my wife's iPhone 7. Hope this helps.
