Blue map issue in the app

The latest app has not fixed the problems with the blue map. And yes, I’ve tried all the suggested fixes. It is clearly in the app. And it is clearly a Fitbit problem.
If this doesn’t get fixed After all this time, why would anyone want a Fitbit?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @VtManitou.

I am sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with the map not showing correctly after completing a Connected GPS activity. Thanks for trying to resolve this, I totally understand how you are feeling and appreciate your feedback as it helps us to keep improving. I am glad to assist you with that. I recommend confirming the following:

1. Force quit, and reopen the Fitbit app to refresh the connection with your device.

2. Before a workout, turn off Bluetooth on your phone and then turn it back on.
3. Confirm that the Fitbit app can use your phone's GPS sensors. For more information, see How do I allow my Fitbit device to use my phone's GPS sensors?

For more information and complete troubleshooting instructions, see How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Thanks for responding but I’ve been trying all the various fixes for several months, and always keeping up with the upgrades. Sometimes it still works but maybe 10% of the time at best. I do a lot of open mountainside hiking and all my other apps work beautifully when I try them  - and the data always loads from the Fitbit to your app. The Blue Map (or it’s cousin, the short track on an empty green map) are unique to the Fitbit app.
The Fitbit Charge 2 I wear is fine, but the package should include a fully functional app.
thx again for responding.
