Hello and welcome @Squash1 and @Rosec562

I see you’re both having syncing issues. I would suggest trying to restart your Fitbit Trackers. You will not lose your data doing this. Look here to find instructions on how to properly restart your Fitbit: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186

😃 Please let me know if this resolves your syncing issue. If it does resolve can you please tap the “choose as best answer” box just under my post? It helps people find answers to questions similar to your own when coming to the community. I’d really appreciate it!

My device is not found on my Bluetooth. Only when I plug the Fitbit into a charge and I reboot twice maybe three times a day does it update on the app. It’s 4 months old can anyone help?

Hello again @Rosec562
Try turning your Bluetooth off then on again. If that doesn’t resolve your issue you can try force shutting your app and restarting the device. Here’s how:

log out of the Fitbit App

force shut the app by swiping the app upward

turn your iOS device off completely, wait 1-2 mins, then restart your iOS device

log back into your Fitbit App as you normally would with your email address and password

sync your Fitbit

😃 Hopefully this will give you the resolution you need. Keep me posted

It only syncs when I plug my Fitbit in and reboot it. It still doesn’t recognise device throughout the day and does not receive messages on my watch.

it still isn’t working properly. My phone only connects with the watch when I plug my watch into the charger and reboot the watch. As soon as I take it off the charge, it’s back to device not found and no messages are received

Hello again @Rosec562

If your still experiencing an issue try this: please go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and remove the tracker. In the list of Bluetooth devices you'll see the Fitbit Tracker and next to it, this symbol "!". Hit the symbol and it will take you to the next step, once you're there select the option that says "Forget this device" or "Unpair". Once you've made sure about that, go back to the Fitbit app,, tap your profile picture then scroll down and select "Set up a Device". This should start the setup process for your device. Just follow the instructions as they come.

If the issue is not solved after the above steps, please take a look at the help articles: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? or  Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Just got off the phone. Have done all the troubleshooting, spent an hour on the computer Saturday on a live chat to fix my not getting notifications. Since then, Bluetooth doesn't stay connected. They have no answer for me. Said their "engineers" are working on it. Apple just wants us to buy their watches so they are putting encryptions on their updates. Either get an apple watch or a new non apple phone.
