@SunsetRunner If you manage multiple Bluetooth connections at the same time, it's possible that the connections could interrupt one another. This is a known limitation for Bluetooth and iOS, click here for more details.

In theory the car uses standard BT Classic and the iOS device uses Bluetooth Low Energy, there should not be this problem. My understanding is that there is no need to pair Bluetooth Classic to the iOS ddvice. At least this is what I've noticed mentioned on the boards.
