Hi, @tafftam! You only need your Bluetooth on when you're syncing, the rest of the time you can keep it off if you like. As to why your over/under/on target changes, Fitbit predicts a certain calorie burn based on your activity up until that point. If you go to sleep when it expects you will keep moving, it's prediction was off and that over/under/on target has to change to match what you really did.
