Hello! I'm dealing with a very frustrating bug when trying to backdate a weight loss goal.
Steps to Reproduce:
1) Go to Fitbit Settings > Nutrition & weight
2) Delete existing Weight goal
3) Enter new goal with manually backdated Start Date and Starting Weight
4) At this point, progress is not visible on Dashboard but is visible on Weight tab
5) Close app and re-open
Outcome: Weight loss start date resets to current day and all progress towards the goal is lost
I have an iPhone iOS 26.3.1 and my account uses Google SSO. The app is connected to Wyze for my scale, but nothing else. This bug is not new to me, it has been around for years, but I just had a baby and having a weight loss goal that I can track towards is important to me right now. This is frustrating enough that I may leave Fitbit altogether if I can't find a solution.
Things I have tried:
- Delete and re-install app
- Delete and recreate goal
- Close and re-open app
Does anyone have a solution for this? Thank you for your help!

Same. Very frustrating. Seems so simple, but…

I have this exact problem (including recently having a baby!) but on the android app. I agree that it's been a bug on and off for years! Has the updates since you posted this solved the problem for you? (Hasn't for me, looking at other fitness watches now).
