Bug report: Cannot enter calories for prior days that have no calorie entry

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I would like to report a bug with your iOS application.

If you do not enter ANY calories on a given day, it is not possible to go back and add calories later on.

For example, suppose I usually enter my calories every day. But on Wednesday, I got busy and did not enter any calories. On Thursday I realize I didn't do it. I cannot go back and add calories for Wednesday.

If ANY calories have been entered for a day then yes you can go back and add more. But if you have added no calories you cannot.

Hello and welcome @sfchris2016! Have you been able to log calories for a different day yet? I tried with a friend with an iOS (I have Android) and we were able to log quick calories by going to yesterday on the dashboard before going to the + sign and adding the calories and they properly registered for yesterday. Are you using the new iOS dashboard or the previous one? Also have you tried going to the day you need to log calories for before attempting to quick add the calories?

Please let me now if this works. I will wait fr your reply!

Thanks Sebastien.

Yes I tried that. Did your friend have anything entered that day? If anything is entered already you can update it with more calories. But otherwise you cannot update it. Searching though this forum I see that this has already been reported several times.

@sfchris2016 as a matter of fact my friend never logs his food, he simply tracks his activity. We made sure to choose a day with no calories added. He was using the new dashboard version, is that the one you are using? I noticed different tips from other users with similar issues on the post you mentioned. Have you tried those out?

Let me know, the more info we get on this issue the easier it will be to find a solution.

Hope to hear from you soon!
