Calorie count changes

I've noticed that when I ride a stationary bike and log the activity, before I save the entry I get an estimated calorie count (let's say, 600 calories).  Then when I save the entry and look at my dashboard, it shows me half of the calories (for example, 300 calories).  If I check my dashboard the next day, the calorie count is back to 600.  Why is the app changing the calorie count like that?  Which is correct?

Hello @evie626 and welcome to the Fitbit Community! Smiley Happy

Is this situation happening with every activity you log in or only with the stationary bike one? The correct amount of calories is the one showed to you at first. For example, if the estimated calorie shown when logging the activity is 600, that's the correct amount, even if the app shows you a different amount, it seems it's taking a bit to update the information correctly. I'd like to suggest logging out from the account, restarting your phone and log back in. If this doesn't do the trick, please let me know.

Keep me posted! Smiley Wink

Thanks for the reply. I logged out and logged back in. I'm still getting this glitch, including if I select another activity (such as elliptical). Thanks for telling me which calorie count is correct.

Hello @evie626 and thanks for the update!

Would it be possible for you to reply with a screenshot when logging in the activity and one from your activity list? That would be very helpful to check this further.

I'll be waiting for yor reply! Smiley Wink

Here are two pictures, one from just after logging the activity, and one from the next day. Thanks. IMG_1207.PNG

Hope you're having a great day @evie626! Thanks for getting back and for the pics that you attached. That's very odd. I appreciate the time you took to report this. In case that you have updates on your phone or App try to get the latest version.

In the mean time keep logging in your information in the same way. Hope you don't get much trouble with your total amount of calories for the day!  Smiley Embarassed

Thanks for your patience in this matter, I'll be around! Woman Wink
