Stride length not updating

Hi,

I use elliptical machines a lot. Despite several requests we still have no elliptical stride lenght.

Also ( despite posted several times ) elliptical calculates with walking stride.

So i am forced to addapt stride length each time i'm using elliptical ( handy huh in 2016 )

Since the last update i change the automated stride length of 72 and replace ot by my elliptical stride of 140.

Now i have to restart the app at least 3 or 4 times and manually sync the charge 2 again so it uses the 140 during my excersize.

IF i forget something ... or i do not restart enough ... my excersize is calculated with my walking stride of 72 despite the fact the number is 140.

This looks like the same sort of bug why the hearth rate graph is not updating for months.

Im getting so tired of these kind of bugs

Hello @SunsetRunner, it's nice to see you around.

We really appreciate our members's input and feedback and I would like to thank you for yours. Please remember that when you perform any change on any of your account settings, such as stride lenght, a manual sync is needed for the tracker to adjust the new settings. This also applies for alarms or heart rate zones.

Now, in regards of the heart rate graph. Have you tried logging out from the app, restarting your phone and logging back in? Does the app show your resting heart rate when you sync your tracker? If it's possible for you to reply with a screenshot of your heart rate graph, that would be very helpful as well.

I hope this information has been useful, I'll be waiting for your reply! Smiley Wink

Yes i know ... but in 2016 it would be nice that an app could do this by itself ... change = autosync. If i forget 1 thing al my numbers are messed up ( distance ... daily goals etc )

please do not start on the hearth rate graph ... i ( and dozens of others ) are reporting this for months .... even the latest update did not change anything .... this is also simple to program ( sync = force grapdraw ... see screenshot with latest update.

Hope you're enjoying your day @SunsetRunner! Thanks for replying. I'd like to know which one is the phone you're using. Check also any update for your phone and thanks for confirming that the last update for the App didn't do any difference. Check your phone memory too, it might be causing this crashes. In regards of your HR graphs sorry for the inconvenience it looks like a bug, I appreciate your comments about it. Smiley Embarassed

I noticed that you already placed your request in our Feature Suggestions board so we'll have to wait for future updates, but thank you for your feedback.

Are you having syncing issues with your Fitbit Charge 2 when doing other activities?

I'll be waiting for your response. Cat Happy

Hi,

latest software on iphone 7.  When changing stride lengt to match elliptical i have to manually sync before i can use.

If i forget everything is messed up. 2 solutions should be applied by fitbit.

1) seperate elliptical stride

2) auto sync when you change anything

i hope fitbit will send more updates to the appstore in 2017.
