Calorie deficit setting

I would like to make the suggestion that Fitbit adds a dynamic calorie deficit feature to the app.

instead of setting a caloric intake as the basis, it would be nice to set the deficit we want to maintain daily. That way I can eat more on the days I have more exercise and eat less on the days I do less.

for example, I set a calorie deficit of 1000. On days I have a 3000 calorie output, I would be able to consume 2000 calories. On the days I do only 2500 calories out I would eat 1500 calories. This way a diet reflects how much exercise you do.

Hello @LPCoder

If I understand your question correctly 🤞 this is already built into the Fitbit App. Here’s how you can set it.

Open your Fitbit App, tap your profile picture then scroll down and tap Activity & Wellness. Next tap Nutrition & Weight. Now under nutrition tap Food. Next tap “Help Me Set A Goal”. Input your current weight and then your goal weight. Tap next in the upper right corner of your screen.

Here you can select your intensity. (See image)

Once you chose your intensity then tap the next button (twice) then tap done.

😃 I hope that answered your question. Please let me know.
