Calories burned discrepancy between days.

Just wondering why my Fitbit app today says I burned 3,172 calories on 15,160 steps, while yesterday I burned 3,149 calories on 11,175 steps? That's basically the same calorie burn for 4,000 less steps.

I'm still using my original Flex, so it does not have access to my HR.

Hello @Mattafuga, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

Please keep in mind that your Flex can detect the intensity of your exercises, even if you have logged less steps one days, it's possible the intensity of your activities has been higher than other days, which is why you're able to see more calories burned.

I hope this resolves your inquiry, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.
