Calories burned drastically changed with new update

Since downloading the update a few days ago the reported calories burned with my Charge HR has decreased by pretty much half. It's now hard to know which count to believe. Also, why the sudden change?

Welcome to the forums @Sophie22! I'd like to know if the Fitbit App prompted you to create a new Food Plan?

If you did, I recommend to check the settings on your Food Plan page. Smiley Happy

Usually we see such caloric difference whenever "Personalized" mode is active on your Food Plan, what this does is use your past history to grant calories for the following day. It's best to leave your Calorie Estimation under "Sedentary" which starts low but grants calories throughout the day. Go to your Food Log page and click on the blue gear where the calories are granted, click on "Sedentary".

Last but not least, let's keep in mind that the accuracy of your Caloric Budget Tile will depend on the accuracy of your Food Logs and how often you sync your tracker. You need to log your meals and sync your tracker so the information can update and be the most accurate calorie burn numbers.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions Cat Very Happy
